About

After walking away from a once promising culinary career, Jamie Russo reluctantly returns to Provincetown, Massachusetts to claim his late uncle’s struggling pizzeria, hoping to sell it quickly and move on. Instead Jamie discovers the restaurant is very much occupied by ghosts of his uncle and his two former employees, who now haunt the place like a dysfunctional management team.

Trapped between the towns living quirky locals and his undead staff’s unsolicited advice, Jamie is forced to reopen the pizzeria to keep the ghosts from tormenting him, and possibly to help them finally pass on. Each episode blends workplace comedy and supernatural chaos as Jamie juggles cursed dough, seasonal tourists, and one very judgemental oven, all while uncovering the messy history of the restaurant and his own unresolved baggage. Set against the offbeat charm of Provincetown, the series is a fast paced comedy audio drama about legacy, second chances, and learning to run a business when your coworkers literally cant leave.

Equal parts “What We Do in the Shadow” and “Superstore”. Written by Michael Mccormack and a production of Fabled Coast Productions, Slice of Afterlife is an ensemble audio fiction sitcom about legacy, labor, and finding family.
